The organization 'Music's from Here and Elsewhere' has been working for many years to protect and highlight musical traditions and cultural heritage.

For more than 20 years meetings and fund raisers have been numerous in France, as well as abroad, we managed to keep up with the partner musicians we met, relations of trust and regard. This continuity gives to each object its own truth.

The tours in many areas in France of our itinerant exhibitions testity the interest and success for our processes, from all types of publics.

In order to perpetuate its originality 'Music's from Here and Elsewhere' has expanded its exhibition with new rare items (collection of sanzas G'Baya and great 'speaking' Banda drums from Central Africa, brass instruments belonging to postmen in the 19th century : Muller's ophicleid in Lyon, Adolphe Sax's saxhorn with 6 cornets…) Vielle à roue PAJOT JEUNE (Jenzat, Allier, France, 1895)
Pygmées AKA (Lobaye, Centrafrique) Besides, in order to answer to the request of medium-sized places (music schools, librairies,…) we have created 'Musics from the World', a light exhibition composed of one hundred musical instruments, which can be adaptable anywhere.
Moreover, thanks to our last trips to Central and West Africa, we were able to bring back 'Music's from Black Africa', travel diaries from Niger to Oubangui. Tambour (peau d'oreille d'éléphant, Banda, Centrafrique)
Charmeurs de serpents (Bénarès, Inde) In addition, India is always present with 'Musics from the North of India', a photographic documentary about the snake Charmers in Beneres and the musicians from the Tar Desert in Rajastan. Written and sonorous pedagogical documents and photographs of musicians playing, guide the visitor during the exhibition .

Entertainments, workshops, trainings, invitation into practice are the complementaries of these exhibitions.
