Music's from black Africa

Travelling exhibition

Travel diaries from Niger to Oubangui

After the fashion of the griots, those storyteller musicians who sing the free-man's praises, music's from black Africa offers to see and to listen to more than 100 musical instruments, sonorous and ritual objects from sub-Saharan Africa, the Niger's banks where the water-drums sound, in the heart of Central Africa, realm of the Aka Pygmies.

Pleasure for the sight, bliss for the ear, invitation to a musical game on the musical bows, sanzas, balas and some great 'speaking' drums...
